Come for laughter, come for fun. In no time, you’ll get into the game, and get some exercise too, as you swing that racket and hit those ‘birds’.
Meets every Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:30 on two courts at Islington United Church, on Burnhamthorpe near Dundas. There are all levels of play and friendly members willing to teach newcomers. It’s a lot of fun and good exercise. Come as often and play as long as your schedule allows.

Learn about the latest culinary trends by exploring a variety of food-related experiences. All members participate by helping organize a demonstration, a hands-on experience or dinner at an interesting restaurant.

Are you an eager and adventurous cook? Join us as we try a variety of healthy, tasty dishes using local ingredients, share ideas and enjoy each other’s company. Each cook pays for the dishes she prepares on a rotational basis. We rotate from house to house, meeting 6-8 times a year on the 1st Monday evening of the month.

Hiking in the GTA
We hike for a couple of hours on the 3rd Sunday of each month, year round. We take turns planning hikes throughout the GTA. We hike anywhere we can get some exercise and enjoy the beauty of the environment around us — in parks, along the waterfront, in the river ravines, in conservation areas.

Walk and Talk
When it comes to walking regularly, it helps to have walking friends. Join these women who meet for an hour-long walk in parks, usually in Etobicoke, on Tuesday mornings. Walking speed is up to you. Some of the group are vigorous walkers while others are leisure walkers.
Bring a bagged lunch to eat in the park or in someone’s home if the weather is not good. Winter walks occur on cleared sidewalks.

Start each week with encouragement. We meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m. at Java Joe’s on Dundas near Royal York.
