Bonne Fête

Join us for lunch at 12:30 on the last Wednesday of each month. We will celebrate all the members for the month ahead and if there are no members’ birthdays in the upcoming month, we’ll eat cake anyway!

You can meet us any – or every – month that works for you! Come and celebrate with your friends. Contact: Linda Rose

Chin Wag Wednesday

Friendly women chatting informally in a group.
We meet in person on the 4th Wednesday of the month with the option of zooming in the 2nd Wednesday of the month. All are welcome. Please contact Mary Ann Dean

Games and Yarn Club

We will meet on the first Monday of the month at Fairfield from 1-3 pm. Our first meeting will be Oct. 5. (Day may change to 2nd or 4th Monday or both in 2027.) Bring a board game you would like to play, cards, a cribbage board etc. or bring your knitting, crocheting, rug hooking, etc. Maybe you would like to learn a new craft? This is a drop in format.  Come when you can and enjoy time with friends playing a game or sharing your favourite yarn hobby.
Contact: Lois Nield or Mary Horgan

Kaffeeklatsch

Join your CFUW friends for a Kaffeeklatsch on the first Tuesday of the month at 3:00. We’ll meet in the food court at Sherway Gardens. Pick up a drink from one of the several coffee places nearby and come and chat with us! You’re welcome to meet us every month or whenever you are able to pop by.
Please contact: Linda Rose

Nice to See You

You are invited to join “Nice To See You!”, an Interest Group that started in February 2021 and meets every Friday at 4:00.  It’s an informal chat-time on Zoom that you can attend every week …or any Friday you want to join us. Chat with other CFUW members, make some new friends, connect with people you haven’t seen for awhile and have a few laughs! Please contact Linda Rose.

On Our Own

On Your Own is a group for members who want social contact and friendship with others who are also “on their own” such as single, widowed, divorced or with a spouse in long term care.
The group meets on Fridays at 10 a.m. In the nice weather, we meet in the park beside Fairfield.  Once the weather is too nippy we meet in the Food Court at Sherway Gardens.
Please contact Germaine Drury or Donna Scott.

Our Mission is to continue to enhance our role as a national, bilingual, independent organization striving to promote equality, social justice, fellowship and lifelong learning for women and girls.
